Sexual Exploitation of Children: Hearings Before the Subcommittee on Crime of the Committee on the Judiciary, House of Representatives, Ninety-Fifth Congress, First Session, Serial No. 12.
Congress of the U.S., Washington, DC. House Committee on the Judiciary.
These House hearings deal with a number of similar bills prohibiting the sexual exploitation of children and the transporting in interstate and foreign commerce of photographs of film depicting such exploitation. These practices, including physical sexual abuse of children of both sexes and all ages, are seen to be proliferating. The hearings attempt to establish the breadth and depth of such practices. They also deal with a number of related questions, such as what the causal factors are, and whether financial inducements play an important role in attracting children to these practices. Statements from expert witnesses, as well as a number of supporting documents, are included. (Author/BP)
