This document presents the proceedings of a House of Representatives hearing on the Equity and Choices Act, a proposed amendment to the Education Consolidation and Improvement Act, Chapter 1. The Equity and Choices Act would provide the parents of educationally disadvantaged children with a voucher and the permission to use it at any public or private school of their choice.
