This report presents data which show the concentrations of ethnic, limited English speaking (LES), and non-English speaking (NES) students in California's public schools. Data are also presented to show public school pupil-to-staff ratios by ethnicity. Tables are used to make comparisons across ethnic groups, student/staff groups, schools, districts, counties, locations, and points in time. These comparisons are discussed within the context of equal educational opportunity for all California students. (Author/EB)
