This document provides four tables that contain public school enrollment data for the school years 1991-92 and 1992-93. The following are the tables: (1) public school enrollments for the 50 states and the District of Columbia (a comparison of total state enrollments for 1991-92 compared to 1992-93 listing the variance and percent of variance); (2) county enrollment increases (a comparison of increases in enrollment--1,000 students or more--for 189 counties throughout the United States arranged in descending order by variance); (3) county enrollment decreases in enrollment (a comparison of decreases--1,000 student or more--for 3 U.S. counties arranged in ascending order by variance); and (4) county enrollment variance (enrollment variances--1,000 students or more--for 192 counties arranged in descending order of variance within 36 states).
