2024 STEM Education Report Card. Washington State STEM Education Innovation Alliance
Daryl Monear
Washington Student Achievement Council
Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are vital to Washington's economy. Because of this, it's essential for our state to align education and career training with workforce needs. The STEM Education Innovation Alliance advises the State of Washington's Governor on policies to align and advance STEM education. The STEM Alliance brings together leaders from labor, education, government, and non-profit organizations. The group meets several times a year and produces an annual STEM Education Report Card. The report card updates legislators on STEM education and workforce initiatives. The 2024 report includes: (1) 2024 Year in Review -- A Snapshot; (2) Washington's STEM Challenge From Early Learning to Postsecondary and the Labor Market; and (3) 2024 Legislative Session Highlights.
