The utilization of principles from the performing arts to enliven teaching technique is explored through the University of South Carolina's "Teaching as a Performing Art" program. (LH)

This article reviews educational inequalities based on cultural heritage and proposes a model for teachers to become more effective in teaching culturally diverse students.
