To provide information on the third three-year round of exemplary projects funded under Section 142 (c) of Part D of the Vocational Education Amendments of 1968 (Public Law 90-576), this document includes abstracts of projects initiated in fiscal years 1975, 1976, and 1977. Each of the sixty-two abstracts included in the document contain the following components: title of project; program director; applicant organization; estimated total federal funds, duration; site information; description of program; program design; and major program components. Abstracts are presented in alphabetical order according to the state or territory in which they were developed. (The projects have been geographically distributed and represent each state and territory of the United States.) Preceding the abstracts is a discussion of the background funding efforts and priority areas listed by the Federal Register. (BM)
