Primarily a guide to the collections of the University of Pennsylvania Libraries, this bibliography lists titles of 671 reference sources on South Asia by type of reference, with geographic and subject subdivisions. The comprehensive list includes general bibliographies, bibliographies of bibliographies, national and special bibliographies, library catalogs, dissertations, periodical directories, indexes and abstracts, biographical information sources, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, general and statistical information, maps and atlases, and films.
