National Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (NECTAC)
This directory contains 338 discretionary projects addressing the early childhood provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) that received funds in 2005. It was compiled from 4 volumes separately published by the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY). The Research to Practice Division of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) administers the discretionary programs authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004. Projects are grouped as follows: (1) Research and Innovation; (2) Personnel Preparation; (3) Technical Assistance & Dissemination; (4) Parent Training & Information; (5) State Program Improvement Grants; and (6) Technology and Media Services.
