VAP-CAP: A Procedure to Assess the Visual Functioning of Young Visually Impaired Children.
Blanksby, D. C.; Langford, P. E.
Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness, v87 n2 p46-49 Feb 1993
This article describes a visual assessment procedure (VAP) which evaluates capacity, attention, and processing (CAP) of infants and preschool children with visual impairments. The two-level battery considers, first, visual capacity and basic visual attention and, second, visual perceptual and cognitive abilities. A theoretical analysis of the procedure's underlying factor structure is presented. (DB)
