Amplifies a recent article by the author on influences for religious endogamy. A more appropriate indicator, called the Index of Influences for Endogamy, indicates influences of virtually equal strength for Catholics and Protestants, challenging the earlier conclusion of stronger Catholic than Protestant influences.
