The study attempted to (1) develop measures of program effectiveness and (2) examine effects of program elements on student satisfaction. Data were collected through administration of the Vocational Education Evaluation in Virginia instrument. Case study results of a cooperative education program are presented. Conclusions drawn from this study indicate student expectations and perceptions of the co-op experience are critical to the experiential learning process.
