Concerned about the paucity of black college coaches and athletics administrators, the Black Coaches Association devoted a major portion of its annual conference to helping members prepare and compete successfully for positions in higher education. Athletic directors and other college administrators were also invited in an effort to sensitize them to association concerns, but few attended. (MSE)
