Notes extent to which students in large universities share faculty goals. Results show correlation between academic success for students of both sexes, and faculty. (EK)

High relationships were found between humanism in the classroom and personal development of students. Personal development of students tended to parallel the college level of students indicated. Suggestions are made as to what constitutes humanism in the classroom. (Author)

Theoretically, as one's ability to communicate improves, so does his self-concept as a communicator. Students enrolled in a basic speech course or an advanced interviewing course were administered a Platz Q-Sort to measure communicator self-concept. Results imply a communication course does significantly change communicator self-concept. (Author)

Summarized numerous different projects which investigated assumptions made by Carol Rogers about the necessary and sufficient conditions for significant positive change in person-to-person contact.
