Demonstrates that an elementary understanding of computer programing and the development and illustration of the structure of computer program analysis will be valuable assets in the understanding and teaching of mathematics and may be used as modeling devices to simulate the stages of learning. Discusses computer managed learning (CML), both as part of an innovative educational strategy and as a means to support the classroom teacher, and argues that introduction of the computer in support of education can best be started at the bottom, i.e., with simple administrative tasks.
