Relationships among Cooperation-Competition and Locus of Control in Social and Academic Situations among Children in Traditional and Open Classrooms.
Henderson, Ronald W.; Hennig, Hannelore
Contemporary Educational Psychology, v4 n2 p121-31 Apr 1979
The relationships among cooperation-competition, perceptions of locus of control in social situations, and locus of control in intellectual-academic situations were compared among fourth- and fifth-graders in traditional and open classrooms. Open education children were more cooperative, and traditional students displayed higher internality for academic locus of control. (Author/RD)
