Two questionnaires surveyed Belizean secondary school teachers' (272) attitudes toward the seriousness of discipline problems and students' (974) attitudes toward education. The frequently occurring discipline problems were related to maintaining order in the classroom and those that interfered with the learning atmosphere. Students had positive attitudes toward school.
