Examines the correlates of three separate configurations of teacher participation in school system decisionmaking. Defining decisional participation in terms of differences in the number of decisional instances in which they actually participate, the identified decisional patterns are Deprivation, Equilibrium, and Saturation. Four hypotheses relating personal and organizational characteristics to these decisional conditions are tested. (Author)
