The experiences of a small liberal arts college with 28,000 military enrollments a year in five states are described. Institutional commitment to military education, campus faculty involvement, campus support services, military education program faculty, and systematic program evaluation and planning are discussed. Heidelberg College's international program has grown from a handful of juniors studying abroad to a range of international opportunities that reaches into the lives of students, staff, and faculty, and the local community.
