Watson, Scott E. J.; Vannini, Natalie; Woods, Sarah; Dautenhahn, Kerstin; Sapouna, Maria; Enz, Sibylle; Schneider, Wolfgang; Wolke, Dieter; Hall, Lynne; Paiva, Ana; Andre, Elizabeth; Aylett, Ruth – Educational Research, 2010

Eslea, Mike; Smith, Peter K. – Educational Research, 1998
After an antibullying project in Sheffield (England) primary schools, 657 children ages 7-11 in four schools were surveyed. Two schools had a consistent decline in bullying, one a consistent rise, and one a decline and then a rise. All four reduced bullying among boys, but three had a rise in bullying among girls. (SK)

Social skills training was given to 15 children aged 9-11 who were victims of bullying. Measures of psychosocial adjustment at three points during the year were compared with those of 13 waiting-list controls. The treatment group increased global self-worth, but there were no significant improvements in social skills problems or victim status.…

The Peace Pack: An Evaluation of Interventions to Reduce Bullying in Four Australian Primary Schools
Slee, Phillip T.; Mohyla, Jury – Educational Research, 2007
Background: The evidence is now quite clear that bullying in schools is an international problem. Bullying is widely regarded as a particularly destructive form of aggression, with harmful physical, social and emotional outcomes for all involved (bullies, victims and bystanders), and with particular risks for children with special needs. The…
