The Importance of Computer Experience, Learning Processes, and Communication Patterns in Multicultural Networking.
Freedman, Kerry; Liu, Meihui
Educational Technology Research and Development, v44 n1 p43-59 1996
Investigates issues fundamental to computer-assisted, multicultural education. Studied Asian American middle school students who corresponded electronically with culturally dissimilar students. Findings indicate that students of different ethnic backgrounds may have different attitudes about and knowledge of computers, cross-cultural communication patterns, and learning processes when working with computers.
