The classification of couples' intrapersonal interaction styles assessed in terms of clinical judgment was compared with assessment based on the Pair Attraction Inventory. Significant correlations were obtained between student ratings of the effectiveness of the guidance program and Personal Orientation Inventory scales of Time Competence and Spontaneity. The resistance of the Personal Orientation Inventory to deliberate attempts to fake in a positive direction was investigated for samples of Spanish- speaking Nicaraguan students and industrial workers.
