Nevo, B.; Oren, C. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1986
Concurrent validity of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the Israeli Inter-University Psychometric Entrance Test (IUPRT) was supported by a high level of correlation, including a correlation of .85 between SAT and IUPET total scores. Transformation equations were presented to estimate performance on one test from the other. (Author/LMO)

Spruill, Jean; Beck, Brett – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1986
This study is a concurrent validation of Level II of the Wide Range Achievement Test-Revised (WRAT-R) using the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) Verbal, Performance, and Full Scale IQ scores as criterion measures. Goldstein, Marc B.; Bokoros, Michael A. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1992
It is argued that the axes of the Learning Style Inventory and Learning Style Questionnaire are not conceptually aligned. Omizo, Michael M.; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1987
The relationship was examined between six scales of the Locus of Control for Three Achievement Domains (LOCITAD), the Nowicki-Strickland Locus of Control Scale, and the Rotter Internal-External Scale. Subjects were 140 adolescent boys and girls. Significant correlations provided some support for LOCITAD's validity. (Author/GDC)

May, Deborah – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1986
The relationships between the Gesell School Readiness Test and standarized achievement and intelligence measures were examined. Children were tested before kindergarten, at the end of kindergarten, and at the end of first grade. Correlation coefficients varied from grade to grade, but did not show a higher correlation between related measures.…

Stokes, Elizabeth H.; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1978
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, and the revised form of that measure, were administered to a sample of sixth grade pupils. Although the correlation between measures was high, scores on the revised form were significantly lower. (JKS)

Sidles, Craig; Mac Avoy, James – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1987
Bilingual Navajo adolescents aged 14-16 were administered the Raven Standard Progressive Matrices (RSPM) and Comprehensive Tests of Basic Skills (CTBS). Correlations were moderate and were higher for females than for males. Norms were established for adolescent Navajos on the RSPM, a nonverbal test of intelligence and visual reasoning. (Author/GDC)

Whitworth, Randolph H.; Gibbons, Ruth T. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1986
A cross-racial comparison of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) was made with the revised version, the WAIS-R. Three groups of Anglo, Black, and Mexican-American male college students were administered both versions of the WAIS on the same day. Significant differences were found among the racial groups.
