Thompson, Bruce; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1996
The construct validity of scores on the Behavior Rating Scale of the revised Bayley Scales of Infant Development was studied with national standardization samples of children ranging from 1 to 42 months and a variety of factor analytic methods. The factor structure became more complex at older ages. (SLD)

Schaffer, Phyllis; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1980
This investigation ascertains whether the empirical factor dimensions underlying the revised Evaluation of Counselors Scale (EOC-R) for student clients of a university counseling center matched a previous sample. It was concluded that the factorial validity of the new form was basically the same as the earlier form. (Author/GK)

McCallum, R. Steve; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1986
Local norming data from the Brief Index of Adaptive Behavior are presented, as are construct and concurrent validity data. Participants in three studies were 430 children. Factor analytic results from Study 1 yielded an easily interpreted three-factor solution; conventional item analysis techniques yielded significant item-domain and item-total…

Hill, Gloria; Swanson, H. Lee – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1985
Results of factor and correlational analyses of the Ethical Behavior Rating Scale (EBRS) are reported. The test-retest method and internal consistency estimates yielded reliability coefficients. Construct validity was determined by correlating the EBRS with items from the Ethical Reasoning Inventory. The EBRS reflects the behavioral aspects of…

The Resident Evaluation Form (REF) was developed to assess resident physicians' clinical performance. This research sought to empirically evaluate the intuitively derived REF scales representing areas of clinical performance: interpersonal ability, cognitive ability, clinical skills, and professional attributes. Analysis yielded cognitive…
