This article presents a model of family therapy which may be described as primarily conjoint therapy integrating techniques of conflict resolution into family systems theory. Conflict between the biological parents and other adults is actively elicited, old hostilities surfaced, and the sharing of here-and-now feelings is encouraged. (Author)
