Library education and training in the Pacific Islands, including American Samoa, Fiji, Guam, and Papua New Guinea, but excluding Hawaii and New Zealand are discussed. There are two levels of training--professional which entails receipt of a B.A., and subprofessional, encompassing certificate courses. (Author/MBR)
