Summarizes impressions of Greek academic libraries gained through visits to several institutions of higher education. Background, Greek universities, the Aristotelean University of Thessaloniki, collection development and dispersion, bibliographic organization and union catalogs, cataloging, language distribution, and library personnel are highlighted.
