Interviewed bartenders (N=61) and asked them to rate excessive drinking customers on 12 traits and compare them with their concept of the average social drinker. Results indicated that excessive social drinkers are predominantly bimodal-introverted or extroverted, and seek the company of others after they start drinking. (LLL)
