Explored the relationship between a short form of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) and McCarthy Screening Test (MST) for a sample of northeastern Ohio children (N=42). Results showed that all the subtests except for Leg Coordination scores correlated significantly with the WISC-R Verbal scale. (LLL)

Discussed the utility of a measure of aggression using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. Although child abusers significantly differed from a distressed and socioeconomic status-matched group on this scale, a discriminative analysis on the scale failed to adequately differentiate the groups. Normal and neurologically handicapped six year olds were administered the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test--Form A, the Riley Preschool Developmental Screening Inventory-Designs, the Riley Make-a-Boy, and the McCarthy Scales of Children's Ability Designs. Compared the scores of reformatory inmates and technical college students on the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and the Psychological Screening Inventory.
