Reports findings on the concurrent validity of the broad-band Internalizing and Externalizing profile types of the Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist. Results indicated that Internalizers were favored on a number of measures of adaptation when compared with Externalizers. (Author/MCF)

The MMPI profile pattern, described here, entailed a behavior pattern that includes hostile-aggressive acting out. The frequency of this profile pattern and the social and psychological importance of the behavior pattern associated with it suggest that clinical investigators can profitably study this group of men.
