Evaluated the utility and validity of self-efficacy theory and a theoretical model of relapse with (N=78) cigarette smokers. Results found efficacy state was significantly enhanced as the result of both treatment programs. (Author/RC)

The purpose of this study was to replicate an earlier finding that two process variables would predict whether callers to a suicide and crisis service would show for appointments for face-to-face counseling. Caller motivation ("referral responsiveness") predicted referral outcome but volunteer concreteness did not. (Author)
