The Interest Assessment Scales and the Omnibus Personality Inventory were administered to 2,458 junior college students enrolled in occupation oriented curricula. Multivariate analytical procedure indicated high relationship between the two instruments. However, some findings raise questions about the wisdom of attempting to use interest and personality scales interchangeably. (Author)
