Treatment of Test Anxiety by Cue-Controlled Desensitization and Study-Skills Training.
Lent, Robert W.; Russell, Richard K.
Journal of Counseling Psychology, v25 n3 p217-24 May 1978
Compared relative effectiveness of two multicomponent strategies in the treatment of test anxiety. Test-anxious students were assigned to groups. Within-group changes between pre- and post-testing favored multicomponent treatments. Between groups, both desensitization treatment programs demonstrated significant improvement over no-treatment on self-report debilitative and facilitative test anxiety. (Author/BEF)
