Effects of Gender, Construct Type, Occupational Information, and Career Relevance on Vocational Differentiation.
Parr, Jane; Neimeyer, Greg J.
Journal of Counseling Psychology, v41 n1 p27-33 Jan 1994
Study on vocational differentiation conducted with 387 college students revealed that higher levels of vocational differentiation were found in men than in women and were related to use of personal constructs when subjects judged highly irrelevant career alternatives. Effects were qualified by interaction between construct type (personal and provided) and career relevance (high, mixed, low). (Author/NB)
