Responds to previous article in which Thomas analyzes current status of counseling psychology from Freudian, drive-structure perspective. Discusses the accreditation process and suggests that way to work for rapprochement between counseling psychologists and counselor educators is to look for characteristics the two professions have in common and attempt to build ties based on those similarities.
