Teenage parenthood is a major societal concern requiring collaborative, professional interventions. Both independent and collaborative roles for counselor educators and school counselors are needed to address the many needs of teenage parents. Issues, problems, considerations, and roles are discussed. Author asserts counseling specialties can use this model to resolve other critical social issues. (Author/SR)
