Attempted to evaluate a readily available comprehensive bibliothearpy smoking cessation program and the impact of smoking and nonsmoking behavior of a spouse on the individual to stop smoking. Results suggest that motivation is an important variable in smoking cessation. (Author)

This questionnaire contains measures of attitudes, motivation, behavior and knowledge associated with alcohol use and abuse. Identified college students' (N=139) self-reported reasons for using or not using marijuana. Compared these patterns with value frameworks from which drug decisions are made. Findings are varied and suggest that specificity is needed in drug education, with emphasis on diminishing the "Therapeutic Drug Ethic" values system. (Author/RC)
