Gullerud, Ernest N. – Journal of Education for Social Work, 1977
A conceptual framework was developed for analyzing and constructing special educational programs for ethnic minority students. Four such programs for Native Americans were analyzed, and generalizations were made regarding the extent to which these were designed to preserve and enhance the ethnic community. (Author/LBH)

Common problems and issues related to programming for continuing education in social work and efforts to deal with them are described. Faherty, Vincent – Journal of Education for Social Work, 1979
The need for social work professionals to remain current is addressed. The study, using a panel of 121 social workers and others, achieved a level of consensus relative to theories, methodologies, and content areas and then projected a functional model useful for intermediate and long-range program planning.
