The use of reciprocal peer teaching (RPT) was evaluated by first-year medical students participating in gross anatomy laboratory sessions at the University of Ottawa. In RPT each student in turn served as a teacher of his peers. The students compared RPT with staff teaching. (Author/MLW)

A model medical care evaluation (MCE) program was implemented at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. The program was evaluated by quantitative and qualitative observational techniques, questionnaires, and interviews, and by comparing committees for which the implementation was highly successful with those less successful.
