Reviews the importance and rationale for the study of nonverbal communication and its relevance for cross-cultural counseling. Concludes cross-cultural counselors can begin to eradicate many misunderstandings and misconceptions by accepting and understanding that people and cultures are different, especially concerning their nonverbal communication patterns.
