Reviews a study examining the perceptions of ethnolinguistic vitality of German- (n=39) and French-speaking (n=35) students enrolled in a technical school in Francophone Neuchatel, Switzerland. German-speaking students perceived marginal status for German speakers in Neuchatel, whereas Francophone students elevated the perceived vitality of the local minority of German speakers. (CB)
