Duluth's School Health Education Project: The Multiagency Approach
Cunico, John A.; Boothe, William H.
Journal of School Health, 44, 1, 11-15, Jan 74
The multiagency approach to health curriculum development can lower or eliminate many of the barriers communities face when endeavoring to upgrade the health curriculum of their schools, allow the upgrading process to be funded and staffed adequately, and gain sufficient public support because it is operated by an agency which deals with broad community problems. This, in turn, raises the priority of health education in the school system. (Author/LA)
