This study predicted two measures of incidental employee absenteeism (absenteeism with pay and without pay) via seven biographical and six attitudinal variables with 195 employees. Female clerical employees (N=314) in two regional offices of a large insurance company were administered Jackson's Personality Research Form. Turnover data were collected up to eight months following administration of the questionnaire. Relationships were found between employee characteristics and turnover in both samples. (Author)
