Wong, Siu Kwong – Journal of Youth and Adolescence, 1998
Main and interactive effects of delinquent friends, peer attachment, and association with Chinese friends on delinquency were studied with Chinese-Canadian youths ages 10 to 20. Results show that association with delinquent friends increases delinquency involvement, while attachment to peers has the opposite effect. (SLD)

The attachments of adolescents to their parents and their associations with personality and social relations were studied for 112 college students and 90 of their friends. Attachment to mother was related to the quality and quantity of daily interactions, but father-child relationship was related to interaction quality only. (SLD)
