Reviews the major problems in the bibliographic control of microforms, particularly monographs in microform. The shortcomings of current practices in the cataloging of microforms are identified, and suggestions are made for the improvement of bibliographic access to these materials. Presents data gathered in the seventh edition of the "Directory of Library Reprographic Services (1978)" in terms of the kinds of institutions listed and the types of reprographic services offered, and reviews some issues of administrative involvement in these services raised by other studies.
