To assess the construct validity of Holland, Daiger, and Power's (1980) measure of Vocational Identity (VI), three personality and four vocational variables were correlated to the VI scale. The results provided evidence of both convergent and discriminant validity for the VI scale. (Author)

Investigated whether My Vocational Situation (MVS) is valid for use with adult females, using a comparison group of homemakers (N=258) and displaced homemakers (N=100). Results generally supported the instrument's validity, although older women often failed to complete it. (JAC)
