Three age groups in six occupational samples were tested on the SCII and their scale scores were examined for significant differences. Data indicates that interests generally are not different for people of different ages in the same occupation. (Author)

Changing from the SVIB to the SCII increased the probability of machine-scoring errors. This study examined the accuracy and consistency of SCII profile scores for three commercial scoring agencies. Results indicated improved performance compared with previous studies and suggested that scoring errors should be minimal for the SCII. (Author)

Results of assigning Holland codes to items seems reasonable, and the codes may be used in future item pool revisions to balance item content, to eliminate poorly defined items, and to select items that are perceived identically by females and males. (Author)
