Harris, Elizabeth L.; And Others – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1974
One hundred and eighteen subjects participated in an 18-trial four-choice probability learning task to determine if probability learning data could be described by a family of learning curves and to identify ability and personality correlates of these curves. (Author)

Bilker, Warren B.; Brensinger, Colleen; Gur, Ruben C. – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 2004
Testing homogeneity of correlations with Fisher's Z is inappropriate when correlations are themselves correlated. Suppose measurements of brain activation and performance are taken before and during a verbal memory task. Of interest are changes in activity gradients in specific regions, R1, R2, R3, and performance, V. The "correlated correlations"…

Messick, Samuel; French, John W. – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1975
Investigates extent to which perceptual factors of speed and flexibility of closure represent more general processes also operating in cognitive and personality domains by including in a single factor analysis perceptual tests and new tests requiring cognitive abilities resembling closure abilities operating in the perceptual domain. Hyde, Janet S.; And Others – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1975
Results support Sherman's hypothesis that sex differences in tests of field independence, such as Witkin's Rod-and-Frame Test and Embedded Figures Tests, are artifacts of the well-known sex differences in space perception and are therefore not evidence that females are less analytical than males. Mos, Leendert; And Others – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1974
Twenty-six test variables for psychological differentiation and cognitive abilities were factor analyzed with a view towards replication of certain factors of perceptual and conceptual differentiation and related these factors to cognitive abilities. (Author)
