Discusses the following three approaches to educating gifted high school students: (1) internships and mentor programs; (2) advanced placement programs; and (3) the "International Baccalaureate" program in Houston, a 2-year program of academic courses and interdisciplinary activities that incorporates a multicultural perspective and requires mastery of two foreign languages.
