The Challenge of Diversity: Implications for Institutional Research.
Smith, Daryl G.
New Directions for Institutional Research, No. 65 (The Effect of Assessment on Minority Student Participation) v17 n1 p53-68 Spr 1990
The predisposition of higher education has been to maintain homogeneity and adapt only when necessary. Creating pluralistic communities will involve fundamental change and require a greater capacity to deal with conflict. (MSE)
